Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) Challenge Print E-mail
FPAM and IBFIM are pleased to introduce the IFP Challenge status to qualified candidates of the Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) program. Under the IFP Challenge, the approved candidate is only required to sit for IFP Module 6, by completing 40 hours of classroom-based lectures and passing the IFP Module 6 examination.

Candidates having the following professional credentials, academic qualifications and industry experience are eligible to apply for the IFP challenge status:
  1. CFP, RFP and ChFC holder
  2. Master or Doctorate degree holder in Islamic banking and finance
  3. Full-time lecturer at University teaching business, accounting or finance subjects holding at least a Master degree
  4. Bachelor degree holder in Islamic studies or from Islamic Universities with 5 years minimum working experience in the Islamic financial services industry
  5. At least a Bachelor degree holder in any discipline with 15 years minimum working experience in the Islamic financial services industry

    The IFP M6 course fees are RM1,500 for tuition and RM300 for exam
    .

    The IFP M6 exam consists of
    Part A - 60 Multiple-choice questions within 3 hours and
    Part B - Case analysis and Essay within 3 hours.


    Those interested to take the IFP Challenge are required to fill-up the application form. The IFP Challenge applications are accepted all year round whereby approved candidates may attend the next M6 course available.

    We envisage a big demand by the Islamic finance industry for IFP training in the near future and strongly encourage CFP holders and other qualified candidates to take the IFP Challenge to boost the number qualified IFP Trainer.
